It was quite a challenge for the children to fill in for the semi-professional choir who usually sing for the service and it involved an early morning start in order to have enough time to practise in the chapel. To add to the upheaval, snow had fallen through the night and all 30 children and their families had to trek over to Greenwich through deep snow. The chaplain, Rev Jules Gomes, was delighted with the singing and the more upbeat style than usual and has asked the choir back to sing again. Let's hope the snow holds off next time!
