Coronavirus update - Saturday 18th April 2020

As the government has recently extended the period of the current lockdown restrictions until some time in May 2020, the church will remain closed until further notice.  However, there have been many initiatives in the catholic community for all our parishioners (and beyond) to follow Masses remotely.   We will use this page to post and notify our parishioners the Masses and other initiatives outside of our parish which may interest you.

Prayer Groups

Our Divine Mercy Prayer Group will come back through Zoom (online video-conference tool) at 9.30am every  Monday, Wednesday and Friday (the time it would normally take place at Christchurch).

Why pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy?

Our Lord Jesús Christ told Saint Faustina:

“Oh, what great graces I will grant to souls who say this chaplet (…) Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fountain of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them” (Diary, 848).

Topic: Christchurch Divine Mercy Chaplet prayer group. All welcome.

Time: Every week on Mon, Wed, Fri at 9.30am
